Kristina Nicole Barry, 26 of Genoa died Monday, September 5, 2011 at Kishwaukee Community Hospital.

She was born January 7, 1985 in Sycamore. She was as a graduate of the Genoa-Kingston High School, Class of 2004. Kristina loved to travel across the country. She lived in New York and the state of Washington. She was an avid Chicago Cubs fan, and was a celebrity bat girl at the age of 11.

Kristinia loved her children and her family. She enjoyed taking her children swimming and was very active in her daughter's sports. She will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her children, Ashlee, Tyler and Alexis; her fiance, Jeremy Wilhelm of Sycamore; her mother, Lisa A. Barry of Genoa; her grandfather, Vern Barry of Genoa; her dear friend, Jim Joyce of Genoa.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Johanne "Jo" Barry.

Her Funeral Service will be Friday, Sept. 9 at 11:00 AM at the Crosswinds Community Church, 13100 Cherry Road, Genoa, with Rev. James Freund officiating. Burial will be at the Genoa Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Thursday from 4:00-8:00 PM at the local family owned and operated, Slater-Butala Funeral Home of Genoa.
