William J. Lambert, Jr. "Bill" of Genoa, IL. passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL.
Bill was born on October 19, 1965 in Chicago to William J. Lambert and Gail P. Lambert.
Bill was very devoted to his belief of our Heavenly Father, Only Source of One, Guardian Angels, Arch Angels that reign on high, Guiding Spirits, eternal brothers and sisters, and angelic beings.
Bill served in the United States Navy from 1986 to 1990 and is a veteran of "Desert Shield", Persian Gulf War. He was an accomplished poet with his works published in the National Library of Poetry, Journey Between Stars (1997) – "Freedom." Bill held numerous jobs over the years with the latest as a caretaker of the disabled. More specifically, Bill was placed with the hearing impaired due to his ability to interpret sign language.
Bill's greatest fulfillment was helping anyone he could. He always put others above himself. He found tremendous joy in assisting the disabled. You were always assured a big beautiful smile and a huge heart when he would greet you.
Bill is survived by his father, William J. Lambert. His sister, Susan (Michael) Peterson, and his brother, David (Doreen) Lambert. William has (6) nephews and nieces; Rebecca J.E. Koeller, Mitchell W. Rausch, Jeric D. Lambert, Maxwell J. Rausch, Austin E. Rausch, and Jacelynn T. Lambert.
Bill is proceeded in death by his mother, Gail P. Lambert and brother, William Lambert.
Please join the family for a memorial service on November 10, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church, 33930 N. State Road in Genoa, IL. A luncheon will immediately follow at the VFW Hall, 311 S. Washington St. in Genoa.
