William Lee Amerman, 77, of Genoa, IL died March 3, 2024 at NW Medicine-Kishwaukee Hospital.

He was born on September 17, 1946 in Vermillion County, IN to Richard Van and Luella Ruth (Conner) Amerman.  He married Carolyn S. Westbrook on November 29, 2003.

Bill was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during the VietNam Era.  He worked all over the world doing various construction projects.

Bill is survived by his wife Carolyn; daughter Jennifer M. (Chip) Jorstad; son Nicholas R. Amerman; raised his grandson Izaiah M. Walker; his step children, Joshua Walker and Dustin Walker; his grandchildren Harper Jorstad, Oskar Jorstad, Kohen Walker, Luken Walker and Isabella Walker; siblings Larry (Susan) Amerman, Rick (Dorthy) Amerman and Lynn Thomas; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law Dick Thomas.
