Velma Louise Buie, 92, of Sycamore died Sunday, November 15, 2020 at her home.She was born August 3, 1928 in Stonefort, IL to Henry and Grace (Wall) Lind. Louise married Al Buie on Dec. 19, 1962Louise was a member of the Sycamore United Methodist Church. She loved to crochet and make beautiful crafts. She will be dearly missed by her family and dear friends.Survivors include her children, Al (Faith) Buie, Guy Buie, Fonda (John) Lyon and Jim (Candy) Buie; 11 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; one great great grandson; two brothers, Al (Fannie) Lind and Gary (Jan) Lind; two sisters-in-law, Helen Lind and Donna Lind and numerous nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Al; and three brothers, Jim Lind, Paul Lind and Sam Lind.Her services will be private.Arrangements were completed by the Butala Funeral Home and Crematory in Sycamore.
