Uno A. Larson, 95, passed away peacefully at his home in Sycamore, Illinois, on December 29, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

Uno is survived by his beloved wife, Gloria, and children; Tom, Eva, Helene, Melissa, Colleen, and Mary-Ellen. He was a proud grandfather to 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren, who brought him immense joy. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Kaye (Kathryn); his brother, Lars; and grandson, Aaron.

A skilled carpenter and tax assessor, Uno found happiness in building and creating and taking on different projects around the home. His passion for life extended to his love of sports, especially the Chicago Cubs, where he played first base for their AAA team. He was also a dedicated fan of Notre Dame football and the Chicago Bears. In his free time, Uno enjoyed puzzles, collecting stamps, and watching Westerns.

Uno was a proud Swede, known for his quick wit, charming wink, and an infectious sense of humor, and was a beloved presence in the lives of his family and friends. His greatest joy was his family, and his legacy of love will live on in their hearts.

A private service will be held in his honor.

Rest in peace, Uno. You will be deeply missed and forever loved.
