Truman Wood, 70, of Sycamore passed away Wednesday morning, October 16,
2019 at home surrounded by his dearest family.
He was born November 19,1948 to Roy Wood and Helen King.
Truman was a man of many talents one of those was bringing a smile to your face no matter the circumstance. Truman was known for his will-power, strength, and impressive knowledge. In his later years if you couldn't find him the kitchen was the place to look. Always Whipping up his own spin on recipes and coming up with ones on the fly!
Truman is survived by his sister, Karen (Steve) Dilling, brother, Harry Wood; daughter, Marla Wood; grandchildren, Brendon "Isaac" Deese, and Dalton Deese.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Rowland; wife, Linda Wood; daughter, Kelly Deese; and mother.
His visitation will be on Saturday, October 19, 2019, between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM at Butala Funeral Home in Sycamore, IL., with a gathering to follow.
