Tom "Tiny" Jacobson, 56 of Kingston, IL passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday March 12, 2021. He was reunited with the love of his life Sandy. He was born on June 16, 1964 in Morrison, IL to Charles and Joyce (VanVuren) Jacobson.
He graduated from Hiawatha High School in 1982. He married the love of his life Sandy on December 18, 1999. He was in the U.S. Army from 1982-1986 with honorable discharge. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish, and go camping with family and friends. He was an active member of the American Legion Post 1010 and Park Board Commissioner for Kingston Township Park. He worked at Illinois Brick Company for the past 25 years. He had an exceptional love for his grandchildren. He had the most giving heart, always there to help.
He is survived by his parents Charles and Joyce Jacobson of Belvidere, IL; Stepchildren Amanda (Jeremy) Horner of Genoa, IL; Ashley (Timothy) Loomis of Polo, IL; J.J. Beach of Midway, TN; Brothers, Rodney (Stefanie) Jacobson of Fairdale, IL; Charles Jacobson Jr. of Davis Junction, IL; Grandchildren, Keegan, Kaylie, Adalynn, and Brayden. Along with several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his Wife Sandy, maternal and paternal grandparents, and Aunt Mary Jane.
Visitation will be Saturday March 20, 2021 from 10:00 A.M to 1:00 P.M. at Butala Funeral Home and Crematory in Sycamore, IL. A private service for family due to COVID restrictions. All our welcome for grave site service at 2:30 P.M. at Mayfield cemetery for the burial of Tom and Sandy. Gathering to follow at Kingston Township Park.
