Todd M. Henson, 53, of Sycamore passed away in peace and surrounded by family at his home on January 24, 2024.

He was born on July 7, 1970, in Holland, MI to Wayne and Ellen (Van Deusen) Henson. Todd married Bonnie Stewart in Galena, IL on November 3, 2012, in a private ceremony with close friends and their children present.

Todd was a proud alumnus of the University of Notre Dame, class of 1992, earning his bachelor's in Business. Todd worked as an IT professional for years and last worked as a Data Warehouse Architect for Baker Tilly until his last day on January 5, 2024.

After college, Todd enjoyed living in the city of Chicago, establishing life-long friends, and developing his love for volleyball, both sand and court. Todd came to Sycamore, IL in 2006. In Sycamore, Todd pursued his passion for wellness and started training student athletes and adults at Moose(L)-Up Redemption Club in Sycamore, IL. Todd's love for wellness and coaching young athletes and eventually adults cultivated meaningful relationships and friendships within his community. Todd loved reading outside on long summer days, running, sitting on the beach, Chicago Cubs baseball, college football Saturdays, and sitting around the firepit with Chauncey neighbors and friends.

Todd is survived by his wife Bonnie, his daughters Maddie Henson and Laney Henson, his stepson Charlie Kazda, parents Wayne and Ellen (Van Deusen) Henson, his brother and sister-in-law Kyle and Sharon (Morren) Henson, his sister Molly Henson, as well as a niece Amanda Driesenga and two nephews, Austin Steinfort, and Parker Boone.

He was preceded in death by his nephew Matt Driesenga, his aunt Sally Van Deusen, and grandparents Way and Hazel (Veldhuis) Henson and Jack and Irene (Plakke) Van Deusen.

His Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, January 28th at 5:00 PM at the First Baptist Church, 530 W. State St., Sycamore, IL.

The family will receive visitors on Sunday starting at 4:15 PM.

Following the service, all are invited to the Regale Center, 124 1/2 S. California St. in Sycamore for a dinner and time for fellowship.
