Timothy J. Lamoureux, Sr.'s Obituary
Timothy J. Lamoureux, Sr., (Rox) 61, of Sycamore formerly of Hillside died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2021 at Kishwaukee Hospital.
He was born May 27, 1960 in Elmhurst to Albert and Mary Alice (Connolly) Lamoureux. He married Elizabeth (Beth) Pater on June 23,1990. They were blessed with two children, Claire and Timothy II. Tim was a loving husband and father who supported and guided his family.
Tim was a lover of the outdoors. He enjoyed camping, fishing, boating, and skiing. Tim was happiest when he was near the water doing what he loved. His character was valued second to none. He was creative, had impeccable attention to detail, and was always willing to help those in need. He spent many days cheering on his favorite Chicago sports teams: the Bears, White Sox, and Blackhawks. He supported his children in their activities by attending dance and theatre performances, baseball games, and cross country meets. Family and friends were the most important part of life for Tim, he always added smiles and laughs to any and every gathering.
He is survived by his wife Elizabeth (Beth), his children Claire and Timothy and his brother Thomas. He is also survived by a large extended family including many brothers and sisters-in-law, cousins, nephews and nieces.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Mary, his two stepfathers Carl Speckhart and Gilbert Lamoureux, his sister Joyce Powell, and his brothers Jack, James, and Michael Lamoureux.
His visitation will be on Friday, Dec. 31 from 9:30-10:30 AM at the Church of St. Mary, 244 Waterman St., Sycamore, IL. His funeral mass will begin at 10:30 AM with Fr. Carl Beekman officiating.
