Thomas LeRoy Roach, 91, of Kingston, IL passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at home on his farm.

He was born on October 17, 1933 at home in Herbert, IL to Carl and LaNora (Fowler) Roach.  He married Kathleen Aurand on February 17, 1952. They celebrated 52 years of marriage before her passing in 2004.

Tom enjoyed work in farming and related fields.  he was a mechanic for E.E. Woodard in Fairdale/Kirkland, IL.  He then spent many years in Sycamore, IL working at Sheahan Equipment proudly representing Case International Harvester.  He also served as trustee for Kingston Township.  He was a member of the DeKalb County Farm Bureau.

He married Leona Loveridge on  March 18, 2006.  They enjoyed 19 years together.

Tom loved his family.  He will be remembered as a loyal and devoted family man and farmer.  Tom is survived by his wife Sis; his daughters Vicki (Gene) Fogle, Jan (Jim) Scheffers and Nancy (Mike) Shafer; his grandchildren Kate Seisser (Jon Stark), Max (Alyssa) Seisser V, James (Morgan) Scheffers, Jennamarie (Jose) Lopez and Bryan (Heather) Shafer; great grandchildren Hadley and Harper Scheffers, Edward, Emmett and Eli Lopez and baby boy Seisser (due 2025); Sis's family of 4 children; 13 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Kaye; son-in-law Max Seisser IV; his mother LaNora; sister Ramona and brothers Carl and Raymond.

His visitation will be on Sunday, January 5th, 2025 from 2:00-6:00 PM at the Slater-Butala Funeral Home of Genoa and on Monday, January 6th from 10:00-11:00 AM.

His funeral service will be on Monday, January 6th at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.   Burial will be private.
