Thomas B. Klein, 82, of Sycamore died February 11, 2024 at Lincolnshire Place in Sycamore after a struggle with Alzheimer's.

He was born on September 6, 1941 in Streator, IL to Fred and Ruth (Novotney) Klein.  He was a veteran, serving in the US Army in VietNam in the latter part of 1965.

Tom married Patricia Leonhard on 5/29/1971.  He was employment at Duplex Products as a collator operator for 34 years and then worked for the Sycamore School District Bus Garage for 10 years.

Tom enjoyed the outdoors and took pride in having the nicest lawn in the neighborhood and also was meticulous in caring for his vehicles.
He and his wife enjoyed vacationing in Arizona and anywhere he could work on his tan.  He loved spending time with family and friends.

Tom was a lifetime member of the VFW Post # 5768 and member of  St. Peter's Episcopal Church for 40+ years, where he served on the Building and Grounds Committee for 20+ years.

Survivors include his wife Patricia; daughter Pamela Brown; son Nicholas Klein (Amanda); grandson - Joseph and granddaughter Caitlyn; sister Carole Wade; two brothers Philip Klein (Luanne) and James Klein (Sandy); many sisters and brothers-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Ruth and two brothers Fred and Robert.

His visitation will be on Saturday, Feb.17th from 9:30-11:00 AM at the St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 218 Somonauk St., Sycamore, IL. with a
memorial service beginning at 11:00 AM.
