Thomas Anthony Hagedorn, 83, of Sycamore, IL,  formerly of Chicago died on March 29, 2025 at the Aperion Care Center in DeKalb, IL.

He was born on June 14, 1941 in Chicago to James Anthony and Myrtle (Enochson) Hagedorn. He was married to Alice Stoflet for 50 years. She  preceded him in death on October 25, 2023.

Thomas was a veteran of the US Navy serving during the Vietnam Era.  He was a medic in the Navy and was a dentist in the Chicago area for many years.

His visitation will be on Monday, April 7th from 10:00 - 10:45 AM at the Butala Funeral Home, 1405 DeKalb Ave., Sycamore, IL. 60178.  A graveside service will start at 11:00 AM at the Elmwood Cemetery, 901 S. Cross St., Sycamore, IL with prayers and full military honors.
