Steven L. DiVirgilio, 65, of Cortland died April 27, 2025 at NW Medicine- Kishwaukee Hospital.

He was born on November 17, 1959 in Rochester, NY to Richard and Marylu DiVirgilio.  He married Sheri Crumpley-DuBeau on July 4, 2014.

Steven worked at the Schaumburg School District 54 in Schaumburg for over 35 years.

He had many hobbies.  Steven enjoyed music, fast cars, racing, all sports, fishing and being at the ocean to feel the sun on the beach.  But he especially loved spending time with the family.

Survivors include his loving wife, Sheri; children, Tim (Gianna) DiVirgilio, Kathryn DiVirgilio (Jon Green), Ryan DuBeau and Amanda DuBeau; grandchildren, Frankie and Anthony DiVirgilio; his mother, Marylu DiVirgilio; sisters, Lynne Paul and Ellen (Kevin) Walden;  father and mother-in-law, Richard and Jane Crumpley; several nieces and nephews and his loyal dog, Giovanni.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard DiVirgilio and Madison DiVirgilio (his dog).

His services will be private.
