Steve "Jammer" Holt, 67, of Monroe Center died Tuesday, September 21, 2021 Javon Bea Hospital- Riverside.
He was born October 1, 1953 in Rochelle to Raymond and Phyllis (Wells) Holt. He married Tammy Kellow on July 30, 1994.
Jammer was a graduate of the Harley Davidson Technical College and was a Harley Davidson Master Technician. He worked for Pierce Harley Davidson and Cutter's Harley Davidson for many years.
Jammer loved motorcycles. Harley Davidson was his world- his career and recreational enjoyment. He taught his wife how to ride and she rode on the back of his bike for 6 years and then she rode by his side for 19 years. He opened that world to his wife which she loves as much as he does. He also loves his mother dearly and will be forever missed.
Survivors include his wife, Tammy; his daughter, Julie Russo; two grandchildren, Jacob and Abigail; his mother, Phyllis; brother, Gary; sister, Teresa; and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, Raymond.
His Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, October 16th from 2:00-8:00 PM at the Genoa Veterans Home, 311 S. Washington St., Genoa, IL.
