Stephen L. Ramsey, 58, of DeKalb, died Wednesday, March 17, 2021 in Elgin.

He was born on September 4, 1962, in Fort Campbell, Kentucky.

Stephen was employed as a welder for Dimpco in DeKalb for a few years.

Survivors include his parents, Sandra and Charles Deitzman; 2 sons, Steven and Mitchell Ramsey; one sister, Heidi (Kevin) Miller; his niece and nephews, Levi Hensley (Kaitlin Barnes), Autumn Miller and Matthew Miller.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jack and Mary Border; and one nephew, Brian Miller.

There will be a private family service held at a later date.
