Socorro Ochoa's Obituary
Socorro Ochoa, 88, died Monday, October 26, 2020 at the Bethany Rehab and Health Care in DeKalb, IL.
She was born on March 28, 1932 in Mexico to Pedro and Maria (Ramirez) Castellanos.
She is survived by her husband, Salvador Ochoa; her children, Efren Ochoa (deceased), Elvia (Jose') Franco, Gloria (James) Stinson, Salvador (Lizette) Ochoa, Rogelio (Myrna) Ochoa and Daniel (Elisa) Ochoa; 12 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
Her walk through visitation will be on Thursday, Oct. 29th from 3:00-8:00 PM at the Butala Funeral Home and Crematory, 1405 DeKalb Ave., Sycamore, IL. In accordance with the IDPH in regards to COVID- facial coverings must be worn and social distancing enforced.
Her graveside service will be on Friday, Oct. 30th at 11:00 AM at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, IL.- please follow the same guidelines as listed above at the graveside service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial cards can be made to her family and sent to the Butala Funeral Home, 1405 DeKalb Ave., Sycamore, IL. 60178.
