Sixto P. Hernandez, Jr. of Rochelle, IL died on April 3, 2024 in Rockford.

Sixto enjoyed fishing and in his younger years, he loved to dance to country western music.  He will be dearly missed by his loving family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sixto Sr. and Juanita; his son, Justin; and two brothers, Robert and Danny.

He is survived by his soul mate, Dona; his son, Jeremy (Amy) Hernandez; one granddaughter, Alexandria; his siblings, Minerva (Pedro) Cano, Vicenta Nieto, Lorenzo (Victoria) Hernandez, Eloisa (Neal) Bryant, Noelia (Ron) Mata, Eddie Hernandez, Eloy (Connie) Hernandez, Diana (Robert) Snodgrass and Melissa (Leon) Jordan and numerous nieces and nephews.

His services will be private and he will be buried at the Fairview Park Cemetery at a later date.
