Sandra Eileen Siwicki, 77, of Genoa, passed away Monday, February 21, 2022 at her son's home in Hinckley, IL.
Sandy was born on June 22, 1944 in Chicago, to Donald and Martha (Steigerwald) Hendrickson. She grew up in Itasca, IL and graduated from Lake Park High School in Medinah.  She married Richard Siwicki on May 8, 1964 at Itasca Lutheran Church in Itasca.
She had several jobs over the years including TWA, Shaklee, and JC Penney's, but her true passion was horses, owning and operating Country Style Stables with her husband for more than 45 years.  Sandy loved to show and ride horses, especially going on trail rides with her friends.  She was very athletic and played softball for many years in the Sycamore Park District women's league.  Sandy was a huge football fan, usually beating the guys in her family in their annual football pool and enjoyed spirited political conversations. She was a long-time member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Genoa.
She is survived by her husband, children Brian (Gennie) Siwicki of Hinckley, and Kristy (Mike Lauer) Mathey of Kingston; grandchildren Morgan (Derek) Gorga, Drake (Katie) Siwicki, Gage Siwicki, Erika Simon, and Dani (Cody Atkins) Mathey; great-grandchildren Sidney Rowland, Marshall Siwicki and Carsten Atkins; special cousin Pam Radzun, special friend Greg Patton; one sister Robin (Mike) Starr, and many dear friends and relatives.
Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers Donald "Frosty" Hendrickson and Rodney Hendrickson.
