Sandra J. Linder, 70, of Genoa, IL. died August 12, 2026 at NW Medicine- Kishwaukee Hospital in DeKalb, IL.

She was born on July 5, 1956 in Waukegan, IL.  She was the daughter of George and Iris (Sommerville) Myers.  She was married to Timothy Linder  on August 23, 1980.

Sandy worked at Meadows Sheltered Care in Rolling Meadows for over a decade.  She loved taking care of her patients and seeing them everyday.  Sandy was a giver. She was always there for her 5 children when they needed help.  She loved donating to charities and donated to Covenant House, Donkey Rescues, ASPCA, Boys Town and many other animal charities.

Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Timothy Linder of Genoa, IL; her 5 children, Jackie (Brandon) Linder, Eric (Amanda) Linder, Michelle (Eddie) Linder, Sean (Megan) Linder and Christy (Alex) Linder;  and 5 grandchildren, Maddie, Kora, Clara, Ethan and Ellie.

Her Memorial Visitation will be on Saturday,  August 22nd from 1:00-4:00 PM at the Slater-Butala Funeral Home, 132 W. Main Street, Genoa, IL.
