Sandra A. Buddinger, 68, of Rochelle, formerly of Sycamore, passed away on July 12, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on December 26, 1954 in Sandwich, IL., the daughter of Paul and Louise (Vestal) Hensley.

Sandy loved to spend time outside gardening, tending to her flowers and helping her husband, Gene with the yardwork.  She enjoyed word searches, watching crime shows, cleaning, painting and shopping.  Sandy also enjoyed spending time with her family.  Throughout her life, Sandy had many jobs that revolved around helping others.  She was a genuine, caring, selfless, thoughtful and kind-hearted soul whose presence will be missed by many.

Sandy is survived by her husband Gene, her children Amy, Katherine and Brian and grandchildren Cody, Zoe and Ashton.  Her brother Stan Hensley and sister Pamela Baxter.

Sandy is preceded in death by her parents Paul and Louise Hensley.

As per her wishes she will be cremated and there will be no services.

A celebration of life will follow in the near future.
