Obituary

Ronald T. Lancaster, 74, of Sycamore died January 25, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on April 30, 1947 in Cleveland, TN to Clarence and Ella May Lancaster.  He married Susan Park on October 25, 1980 in Creston, IL. Married for over 40 years they shared memories that last a lifetime.
Ronald wore many hats throughout the years as a warehouse operator at 3M, an over the road truck driver and landscaper.
As a loving father, Ronnie, expected his kids to know two things: how to bait a hook and work hard.
On the weekends you could find Ronnie pitching horseshoes or in his "spot" at Sycamore Speedway. But above all else, he could be found fishing with his 6 tackle boxes, 12 fishing poles and 2 buckets of bait anywhere that you could find water. His sense of humor was contagious and he always had a 'one-liner' up his sleeve.
Survivors include his wife, Susan;  Tammy Lancaster, Kimberly Smith (Stan Richmond), Nacole (Ken) Bergeron, Ronnie (Corrine) Lancaster, Crystal (KC) Baie, Michael (Katelyn) Lancaster, Tina Lancaster, Leona Finney; 20 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father, mother-in-law, father-in-law and four half-sisters.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, April 30th from 1:00-5:00 PM at the Sycamore Park District- Good Tymes Shelter by the pond.
