Obituary

Roberta L. Bellante, 66, of Cortland died on Wednesday,  November 23, 2022 at her home.
She was born on November 28, 1955 in Aurora, IL and adopted by Mary Moebs along with her two sisters.
She was a long time truck driver who enjoyed traveling the country prior to that her other careers were making jewelry and computer boards she was very hands on .Customer service and child care
She was a mother, a Sister,  a grandmother (Nona) and friend to many. She was one of a kind and loved by many her smile and laugh were contagious.
She enjoyed music, painting, coloring, working on puzzles, refinishing vintage woodwork, traveling, crafting, reading, taking care of animals she adored her cats, cooking, going to the beach and spending time with her family.
Survivors include, her sons, Christian [Katherine] Bellante and  Cory Bellante,  her nephew, Anthony Bellante,  her sister, Maria Bellante, her nieces, Kate and Beth McAnelly,  her grandchildren, Damien, Brayden, Cheza, Draco, Tristan and Logan and her
extended family, Jessica, Horatio and Penelope.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Moebs.
Her memorial visitation will be on Saturday, December 10th from 12:00 PM-4:00 PM at the Butala Funeral Home and Crematory in Sycamore.
Burial will be private.
