Robert W Mikos, 84, of Sycamore, IL, died July 3, 2025.

He was born in Chicago in 1941 to Walter and Stephanie Mikos.

Bob worked as a mechanic at Zimmerman Ford before opening his own shop, Bob's Garage, in West Chicago.  He sold the garage as "semi-retirement" and worked for Fox Valley Ford until he retired.  Bob's free time was spent playing with horses.  He rode with several local groups, did trail rides, driving and dressage.

Robert was preceded in death by parents Walter and Stephanie, and son Scott.

He is survived by daughter Michelle and sons Mark and Matthew.

A celebration of life will be held Sunday 7/13/25 at Fox Valley Saddle Association from noon to 4pm. 44W300 Rohrsen Rd, Hampshire, IL 60140.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to care for Bob's horse, Ralph.
