Robert "Bob" Floyd Patton, 72, of DeKalb died November 26, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on July 26, 1952 in Sycamore, to William and Betty (Overton) Patton.  He married Terry Langley in 1972 in Sycamore.

He graduated from the Sycamore High School, Class of 1973. Bob was a honorably discharged veteran of the U. S. Army, serving from 1974-1976.

Bob was a hard worker.  He was employed at a variety of places- including Barber-Greene Corp., Sealy Mattress, Union Special and URACO.

He enjoyed Nascar, professional wrestling, watching the San Francisco 49ers and most of all spending time with his family- especially his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Terry; one daughter, Tandy (Larry) Harris; two grandchildren, Alivia and Mason Harris; his siblings, Sheryl Hamilton, Debbie Davis, Diana West, Dennis Patton, Muriel Rowan and Michael Patton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tasha Patton; his parents, Betty and Howard Graham and William Patton; his favorite in-laws, Mary and Wesley Sebastian; and his siblings, Chrissy Hatcher, Roger Patton, John Patton and Terry Patton.

His visitation will be on Friday, Dec. 6th from 1:00-3:00 PM at the Butala Funeral Home, 1405 DeKalb Ave., in Sycamore.  His memorial service will begin at 3:00 PM with military honors presented.
