Richard B. Vyse, 64, of Genoa, IL. died November 1, 2022 at his home.
He was born on August 19, 1958 in Evanston, IL to Arthur and Marjorie Vyse. He married Susan Fletcher on August 28, 1978.
Richard attended Harper College, where he earned his Associates Degree. He worked as a computer programmer, retiring after many years of service.
He was a loving Christian man and will be dearly missed by his family and many friends.
Survivors include his wife, Susan; son, Brandon Vyse (Janet Richardson); daughter, Christina Janssen; his grandchildren, Brooklyn Vyse, Jainessa, Jocelyn, Julian and Jayden Janssen; his sister, Deborah (Todd) Reed and his dog companion, Charlie.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Roberta Vyse and brother, Arthur Vyse.
His visitation will be on Friday, November 4th from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM at the Slater-Butala Funeral Home in Genoa.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family in care of the Slater-Butala Funeral Home, 132 W. Main St., Genoa, IL 601365.
