Richard L. Krause's Obituary
Richard L. Krause, 70, of Sycamore died on January 13, 2023 at Kishwaukee Hospital with his wife, Mary Lou at his side.
He was born on March 2, 2952 in Aurora to Charles Krause Sr. and Lillian Mosher. He married Mary Lou Malinowski on October 20, 1990 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Geveva, IL.
Richard worked in retail for photography for many years, transitioning to retail. Richard enjoyed photography, writing stories, reading, drawing and making greeting cards with jokes to make you smile. He also enjoyed playing his guitar and admired very early automobiles. Richard loved to spend all of his time with his wife, Mary Lou.
Survivors include his wife; his brother, Robert (Adrianne) Krause; sister-in-law, Anna Krause; nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Lillian Krause; brother, Charles Krause Jr. and sister, Sandra Krause.
His visitation will be on Friday, January 27th from 9:30-10:30 AM at the Butala Funeral Home, 1405 DeKalb Ave., Sycamore, IL.
A funeral mass will follow the visitation on Friday at 11:00 AM at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 123 S. County Line Road, Maple Park, IL. 60151. Burial will be after the mass at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Maple Park.
