Richard E. Hillman, 73, of DeKalb died on  August 10, 2023 at his home.

He was born on November 3, 1949 in Sycamore to Robert E. and Margaret (Parker) Hillman.

Richard attended Sycamore schools and worked at various factories in DeKalb.

Survivor include his brother, Robert (Teresa) Hillman of Edmonds, WA.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his two brothers, Roland and Roger Hillman.

Memorials can be sent to the Northwestern Cancer Center, 10 Health Services Dr., DeKalb, IL. 60115 in Richard's name.

Arrangements were completed by the Butala Funeral Home and Crematory, 1405 DeKalb Ave., Sycamore, IL. 60178.

Services will be private. Burial will take place at the Elmwood Cemetery, Sycamore, IL.
