Richard "Dick" A. Holthaus' Obituary
Richard "Dick" A. Holthaus, 80, of DeKalb died Sunday, August 25, 2019 at NW Medicine- Kishwaukee Hospital in DeKalb.
He was born May 23, 1939 in Onalaska, WI. to Donald and Evelyn (Shelmidine) Holthaus. He married Evelyn R. Froegel on June 22, 1963.
Richard worked as a computer operator for various companies, including Trane Corp. in La Crosse, WI., Swiss Colony and Utelco, Inc., both in Monroe, WI.
He enjoyed golfing, cars, playing cards and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. He and his wife loved traveling and sightseeing, especially the beauty of Colorado and watching the elks roam.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn "Lynn"; two sons, Eric (Laurie) Holthaus and Patrick (Cindy) Holthaus; three grandchildren, Gregory, Krisann and Jordan; his sister, Sharon (Allen) Twinde; sister-in-law, Barb Holthaus and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Marce; and his sister, Valerie (Gene) Lancour.
