Obituary

Raymond R. Miller, 81, of Sycamore formerly of Naperville, died on February 24, 2025 at the DeKalb County Rehab and Nursing Center.

He was born on November 26, 1943 in Chicago to Raymond and Mildred (Sinn) Miller. He was married to Sharon (Burson) Miller and they raised a family in Naperville when it was still cool.

Ray had a long career working as an Electrical Engineer and a Production Manager with Motorola.

In his spare time Ray was an avid member of the Jefferson Club where he did his best to take everyone's pocket change with his pitch playing skills, a skilled amateur woodworker, enthusiastic reader and watcher of westerns and American war history. Ray also spent as much time as he could trying to catch Walleye and/or northern pike wherever/whenever he could.

Ray leaves behind his wife Sharon Miller; his two sons, Todd (Leisa) Miller and Kyle (Renée) Miller, his grandchildren, Anaya Miller, Lucas Miller, KT Reiners; and his great grandchild, Sawyer.
