Randy Scott Bacon, 63, of Kingston died March 29, 2026 at the Bethany Rehab and Nursing Center.

He was born on January 2, 1963 to Walter "Tub" Bacon and Jo Anne (Hicks) Bacon.

Randy was a graduate of the Genoa-Kingston High School.  He was a truck driver for Ridge Carriers in Denver, CO for 10 years and later farmed and drove a truck for Stan Sandrock in Malta for 20 years.

Randy loved music.  He was the drummer for Shuvlhed. Also, a special mention of his pup, Hector (who passed before him).

Survivors include his brothers, Steven (Eileen) Bacon of Kingston, David Bacon of Kirkland, and Gerald Bacon of Kingston; his sister, Rebecca (Gary) Greer of Centre, AL.; his nieces and nephews, Jeremy Bacon, Andrew Sutfin, Andrea (Drew) Heron, Deidra (Ali) Greer, Jessica Bacon, Ben (Michelle) Bacon and Daniel Bacon.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Kevin Bacon.

His Visitation will be on Saturday, April 4th from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM at the Slater-Butala Funeral Home, 132 W. Main St., Genoa, IL.

A graveside service follow at the Mayfield Twp Cemetery.  It will begin at 12:30 PM with Rev. Jackie Wills officiating.
