Feb 14, 1954 — Oct 21, 2026
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Paulette Ann Bowen, who left this world peacefully on October 21, 2026, at the age of 72. Born on a beautiful Valentine's Day, February 14, 1954, in Sycamore, Illinois, Paulette was a beloved daughter of the late Sedrick Maness and Clara Nolan.
Paulette possessed a warmth that drew people to her and a strength that inspired those who knew her. Her gentle spirit and kind heart were her trademarks, and she was known for her unwavering love and dedication to her family and friends. Paulette lived a life full of love, laughter, and compassion, always putting others before herself.
She was the cherished wife of David Bowen, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and joy. Their enduring partnership served as a testament to the power of love and commitment. Together, they created a wonderful family and a home filled with warmth and happiness.
Paulette was a devoted mother to her daughter, Shawn Luepkes, and her husband Michael, and to her son, Brandon Bowen, and his partner Heather Storm. Her children were her pride and joy, and she took immense pleasure in watching them grow into the remarkable individuals they are today.
Her legacy continues through her beloved granddaughter, Sarah Gillingham, and her husband Eric, as well as her great-grandson, Orion Bowen. Paulette's nurturing spirit and boundless capacity for love will live on through them.
In addition to her immediate family, Paulette is survived by many dear friends and extended family members. She is predeceased by her parents, her sister Linda Maness, and her granddaughter Samantha Bowen, all of whom she missed dearly.
Paulette touched the lives of many with her generous heart and her ability to make everyone feel special and valued. Her memory will forever be a source of comfort and inspiration to those who were fortunate enough to know her.
In keeping with Paulette's wishes, and in honor of her spirit of giving, the family kindly requests that donations be made in her memory to a charity of your choice. This gesture will help continue Paulette's legacy of kindness and compassion.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Paulette Ann Bowen will be dearly missed but never forgotten, as her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
