Obituary

Paul L. Leitsch, 61, of Kingston died Friday, December 3, 2021 at NW Medicine- Kishwaukee Hospital in DeKalb.

He was born on February 28, 1960 in Chicago to Paul L. and Charlene (Elliott) Leitsch.  He married Tracy Mangum on October 24, 1987.
Paul was a  former volunteer firefighter for the Genoa Fire Department. He was the owner and operator of Canyon Roofing Company for many years.
His greatest joy was to spend time with his family- especially with his grandchildren.  He spoiled them by giving them candy and lots of love.  He will be dearly missed.
Survivors include his wife, Tracy; 4 sons, Dustin (Jessica) Lodge, Trenton (Melissa) Leitsch, Colton (Harmony) Leitsch and Quinton Leitsch; 10 grandchildren, Tyler, Dylan, Zoey, Landon, Kylie, Kayden, Carson, Liam, Braxton and Mia; 2 brothers, Bill (Phyllis) Leitsch and Ron (Bobbi) Leitsch; 2 sisters, Karen (Clay) Hanninen and Tammy (Jack) Ries; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Frank.
His visitation will be on Saturday, December 11th from 1:00-3:00 PM at the Butala Funeral Home and Crematory in Sycamore.  A Celebration of Life service will begin at 3:00 PM.
A memorial in Paul's name has been established for his family in care of the Butala Funeral Home and Crematory, 1405 DeKalb Ave., Sycamore, IL. 60178.
