Patricia A. Van Buren, 93, of Sycamore formerly of Elgin, died Sunday, June 22, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born July 31, 1931 in Elgin.  The daughter of Kenneth and Alice Pool.  She married Frank Van Buren on September 5, 1959.

Pat was employed at Burrens Transfer of Elgin for 26 years.  She loved bowling and playing golf.  She also enjoyed traveling and loved spending time with her family!

Pat was loved and will be dearly missed by her family.  Survivors include her three children, Christi (Jim) Volkening of Genoa, Steven W. (Suzy) Van Buren of Kingston and Lisa (Jim) Jindrich of Sycamore; eight grandchildren, Katy Van Buren, Ryan and TJ Markham, Laura Volkening, Matthew Volkening, Jessica Volkening, Jennifer and Paul Boyes; two great grandchildren, Bailey and Brylee Markham; one sister-in-law, Shirley Pool and her faithful dog, Benny.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frank; one brother, Kenneth Pool and one sister, Barbara Cannon.

Her services and burial will be private.
