Patricia Lu
(Patti) Beecher
Mar 17, 1952 — Jul 27, 2024
Patricia Lu Beecher, affectionately known as Patti, peacefully went to her Heavenly home on the morning of July 27th, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Over her 72 years, she devoted herself wholeheartedly to her family, friends, and her many beloved pets, who brought immense joy to her life.
Born March 17th, 1952, in Kearney, NE, to Wilmer and Opal (Meyer) Tollefsen, Patti cherished her happy childhood, often reminiscing about it with great fondness. As a loving daughter and proud sister to Doug, her early years were filled with affection and warmth.
Patti's life was devoted to her two daughters, Susan and Katie, whom she loved with boundless enthusiasm and unwavering dedication. Patti was immensely proud of her girls, and was a constant, loving presence, always ensuring that their moments together were special and joyful. She made sure her family felt her support throughout their lives and was thrilled to welcome her sons-in-law, Chip and Steve, into the family as if they were her own.
Her five grandchildren- John, Levi, David, Lily, and Matthew- were the light of her life, and filled her days with true happiness. She had a remarkable talent for making silly faces and maintaining a youthful heart, always ready to bring smiles and giggles to her grandchildren with her playful nature. She treasured every moment with her brother, Doug and sister-in-law Sheri, whether on vacation or sharing a delicious meal together. She adored her nephews, Ben and Mark, and great-nephew Remy. She cherished hearing about their lives and adventures and was delighted to spend time with them. Patti's beloved and faithful dog, Hazel, was always right by her side and a true companion to her. She was blessed with an extraordinary circle of friends and wonderful neighbors who enriched her life with joy and love, and she cherished them deeply in return.
Patti's playful spirit, radiant smile, and joyful laughter, along with her beautiful singing voice, warm hugs, and sparkling blue eyes, will be dearly missed. She navigated life with dignity and grace, embodying independence, strength, and courage. Her legacy of love, kindness, and compassion will be deeply cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Join us as we celebrate Patti's life on October 5th, 2024. The venue will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in honor of Patti's memory. This gesture would honor Patti's caring spirit and her desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
