Patricia I. Fisher, 82, of Kirkland died peacefully on Monday, May 11, 2026 at her daughter's home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born January 9, 1944 in Chicago, IL. to William and Virginia (Cademartrie) Wolven. She was a graduate of the Dundee High School, Class of 1962.  Patricia married Buddy Rex Fisher on June 24, 1967.

Patricia worked as a lunch lady- famous for offering "seconds"- for the Genoa Kingston School District, retiring after 25 years of service. In her spare time, she loved watching General Hospital, spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed going "junkin" with her best friend, Donna.

Survivors include her sister, Barbara (Greg) Capocasa; her three children Duane (Christina), Dan (Amanda), Tammy (Ryan) Ross; 12 grandchildren, Terron (Matt), Nick, Michael, Dylan (Elyse), Ryan, Adam, Presley, Alexis, Danny, Cooper, Brett and Braeden; 14 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Her visitation will be on Friday, May 15th from 4:00-8:00 PM at the Slater-Butala Funeral Home, 132 W. Main Street, Genoa, IL.

Her funeral service will be on Saturday, May 16th at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home with Rev. Jackie Wills officiating.  Burial will be at the Kingston Cemetery, Kingston, IL.  A luncheon will follow the graveside service at the Kingston United Methodist Church (lower level), 121 First St., Kingston, IL.
