Pat "Arky" Woodson, 89, of Kirkland, IL died March 14, 2024 at OSF St. Anthony's Medical Center.

He was born in Hoxie, AR to Riley and Alice (Martin) Woodson.  He was formerly married to Diana Firkins.  Pat was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Pat loved the outdoors and in his younger years he enjoyed hunting and fishing.  He worked for Anaconda Wire and Cable Company, retired from Nehring Electric after 20 years of service.  He continued to work at Tuttle Electric and helped a variety of local farmers.

Survivors include his nieces and nephews, Mary Jane Abbott, Ray Anglin, Jimmy Anglin, Deborah Osting, Anna Mae Simms, Vicki Woodson, Michael Woodson, Gary
Woodson, Tina Funk, Tony Woodson and Chris Beasley.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his 12 siblings.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 23rd at 11:00 AM at the South Grove Cemetery in rural Kirkland.
