Nancy L. Brauer, 85, of Sycamore, IL. died on September 22, 2026, at the Manor Court of Rochelle.

She was born on July 26, 1941, in Aurora, IL. to Merwin J.R. and Lillian (Chase) Brauer.

Nancy worked for the Sycamore School District for many years.

She loved to play the accordion when she was young and she would play the organ or piano, and sing. Also, she played a lot of board games with her kids. Nancy loved going to church.

Survivors include her two sons, Ronald Whitney and David (Trish) Whitney; one daughter, Carlene (George) Estrada; one grandchild, Chris Estrada.

Her visitation will be on Monday, September 28th from 9:00-11:00 AM at the Butala Funeral Home, 1405 DeKalb Ave., Sycamore, IL. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM with Rev. Stephen Persson officiating.

Burial will be at the Elmwood Cemetery, Sycamore, IL.
