Mryon J. Plapp, 53, of Dekalb, IL died June 21, 2021 as the result of an auto accident.
He was born May 12, 1968 in Dekalb, IL. He is the son of Edgar and Rosalie (Nelson) Plapp. He was baptized on June 15, 1969 at the Northwest Malta Methodist Church.
He was a graduate of the Malta High School, Class of 1986. Went to college at Iowa State and studied animal science in 1989. Worked on the family farm near Malta. He married Kim M. Camp July 27, 1996 at the Northwest Malta Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife; his six children: Colton (Becky), Bailey (Jake), Daniel (Elizabeth), Jennifer, Michelle (Troy), and Amanda. Grandchildren: Melody, Harmoney, Lydian, Beata, and Brayden. His father: Edgar. Siblings: Avis (William), Marla, Aaron (Tami), Muriel (Russ), and Adrian ( Deb).
He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosalie Plapp and father-in-law, Clifford Camp.
A Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, July 10, 2021 from 1-4:00 pm at 6688 Rich Rd Dekalb, IL on the farm.
