Milburn James Tull, Jr. (Jim)
June 30, 1931 – August 30, 2024

Jim Tull, 93, of Sycamore, IL, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2024.

He was born in DeKalb, IL, to Milburn James Tull, Sr. and Blanche (Reams) Tull.  He graduated from high school in Bellflower, CA.

After college he joined the Army and served in the Korean War from 1952 – 1960. He worked in engineering until he retired.

In 1955, Jim married Betty in Sycamore. They were married for 68 years until her passing in 2023.

He was a lifelong member and past commander of the Sycamore VFW. Jim was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church.

Jim's visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 3, from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at the Butala Funeral Home, 1405 DeKalb Ave., Sycamore, IL 60178.

A graveside service with full military honors will be on Wednesday, September 4, at 10:00 am at the Elmwood Cemetery in Sycamore with Rev. Preston Fields officiating.
