Michelle V. Schoepp, 38, of Sycamore passed away unexpectedly Sunday, September 5, 2021.
She was born on November 11, 1982 in Hoffman Estates, IL. the daughter of Gregory and Sherry Lynn (Olliges) Scripel. She married her childhood sweetheart Kenneth J. Schoepp on June 16, 2012.
Michelle was a graduate of James B. Conant High School class of 2001, where she was a member of the volleyball and track teams. She then attended William Rainey Harper College where she competed for the women's volleyball team placing 4th in the National Tournament in 2002. Michelle then went on and studied Illinois State University.
Michelle met "Kenny," who would later become her husband, in the 5th grade. She told her mother after meeting him for the first time, "I'm going to marry him." Eventually they found their happily ever after in 2012 and married as she predicted. On November 29, 2014 she gave birth to their beautiful daughter Eleanor Grace Schoepp. Eleanor (Ellie) was her world. Ellie brought joy, laughter, and happiness into her life each and every day. Michelle passed her spunk for life and witty humor on to her daughter, who now brings smiles to everyone she meets.
Michelle is survived by her husband Kenneth J. Schoepp, Sycamore; daughter Eleanor Grace Schoepp, Sycamore; parents Gregory and Sherry Scripel, Rockford.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association.
Her Celebration of Life visitation will be on Sunday, September 19th from 1:00-5:00 PM at the Butala Funeral Home and Crematory, 1405 DeKalb Ave., Sycamore, IL 60178.
