Michelle (Miki) A. Stogsdill, 79, of Sycamore died September 17, 2022, at her home.

She was born on January 25, 1943, in Chicago to Michael and Ruby (Wonser) McMenamin.  She married Donald Stogsdill on January 12, 1963, in DeKalb.

Miki grew up in Sycamore and attended St. Mary's Catholic School and Sycamore Junior High before graduating from Sycamore High School in 1961.

Miki loved being with her family. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, and reading. She was always fun to be around, and her smile and laughter would light up a room. Miki will be dearly missed by all.

Survivors include her husband, Don Stogsdill; son, Christopher Stogsdill; granddaughter, Tasha (Joe) Sims; 4 great-grandchildren, Ashlyn Hooker, Garrett, Sterling, and Ryleigh Sims; sisters, Margaret Chamberlin and Mari (Michael) Brown, nieces and nephews: Michael, David, Kathleen Hayley, Marissa Chamberlin, Leah (Michael) Langenstrass, Sarah (Joshua) Johnson, Beth Langenstrass, Patrick (Melissa), Billy, Ben, Emily Brown, Brigid Brown.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her son Jeff Stogsdill.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at a later time.
