He was born October 4, 1960 in Benton, IL to David and Shirley (Sherwood) Jeralds.  He married Marie Krzykowski on March 18, 1983.

Michael enjoyed going fishing, was a avid White Sox fan, loved playing cards- especially Poker, was always a jokester, and always enjoyed spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Marie; his daughter, Shannon Brackett; 4 grandchildren, Hailee, Autumn, Arianna and Michael; 3 brothers, Charles (Tammy) Jeralds, Terry (Shannon) Jeralds and Kenneth Jeralds; one sister, Ettie (Larry) Ayala; and nieces and nephews, Larry, Terry and Lesly Ayala, Amanda Simpson, Cody, Colton and Charles Jeralds, Anna Rutters, Cassy Jeralds, Terry Jeralds, Jr., Megan and Jake Hestekin, Joseph Jeralds, Tiffany Vollmann and Elizabeth Jeralds.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Brian Jeralds in Nov. 2020; and his brother, James Jeralds.

A walk through visitation will be on Sunday, Jan. 3, 2021 from 12:00-2:00 PM at the Slater-Butala Funeral Home of Genoa.  Facial coverings and social distancing will be enforced.  A limit of 10 guests are allowed in the funeral home at one time.

A graveside service will follow at 2:15 PM at the Genoa Cemetery, with Travis Hughes residing.
