Michael L. Baskins was born in Sycamore to William Baskins and Linda Baskins (Blade).  Michael passed in the early morning at his home in Sycamore.  He was a long-time brick mason who formally owned his own company Baskins Masonry.

He enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, baseball, mechanics and most of all- he enjoyed spending time with his girls.

Survivors include (daughters) Serenity Baskins and Faith Baskins, (sister) Diana Sandusky and (husband) Arlie Sandusky, (nieces) Samantha Sandusky and Sarah.  (Nephew) Arlie Sandusky, (brother) Bill Baskins and (nephews) Justin and Austin Baskins, ((brother) Brian Baskins, (father) William Baskins, Sr. and (wife) Mary Baskins, (girlfriend) Dawn Carlson, (children) Nathan and Joseph.

He was preceded in death by his (mother) Linda Baskins.

A private viewing will be held for immediate family and the celebration of life will be held at a later date.
