Mary T. Lau passed away peacefully at age 93 on November 16, 2023. A longtime resident of Maple Park, IL, a devoted parishioner of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, Maple Park, IL.

Mary was a retired RN and Physician Assistant, after retirement she pursued her joy of sewing, gardening and being with her family.

Her greatest love was her family.  Mary is survived by her daughters Ann Marie (Bill) Walsh and Phyllis (the late Patrick) Shyan.  Her grandchildren Denis (Briana Enzenbacher) Walsh, Elizabeth (Paul Lopez) Walsh and Lauren (James) Warner.

They will share plans for a Celebration of Life ceremony at a future date.

"How is it that we never saw your wings when you were here with us?  When you closed your eyes and soared to the heaven we could hear the faint flutter of your wings as you left."
