Mary A. Ehrhardt, 88, of Sycamore, IL died on March 13, 2023, at her home at Grand Victorian.

She was born January 10, 1935 in Sycamore, IL to Emil and Alice (Nelson) Cassier.  She had a wonderful childhood growing up in the Sycamore park where her father was park superintendent for 35 years and mother also worked hard in the concessions and pool, etc.

Mary married Gene Ehrhardt in August of 1957 and moved to the farm.  Although they later divorced she was always grateful she had her only child, Lori.

She worked at Ideal Industries as a switchboard operator for many years.  She later worked at First National Bank as a teller.

Mary loved nature and animals, and was a good photographer and artist.  Her biggest love was her family.  Although small, she spent many happy times with her daughter and grandchildren and later, great grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Lori Kocher, of Sycamore; grandson, Sam, of Wichita, KS; granddaughter, Katee (Dave) Snyder, of Sycamore; two great-grandchildren, Alexandria and Charli, of Sycamore; as well as 3 nieces.

Burial will be private and there will be no public visitation.
