Marion C. Vandeburg, 84, of Sycamore died Saturday, April 17, 2021 at NW Medicine- Kishwaukee Hospital in DeKalb.
She was born on Dec. 31, 1936 in Sycamore to George and Marie (Naker) Hall. She was a graduate of the Sycamore High School, Class of 1955. She married Orrin F. Vandeburg on Jan. 30, 1965 in Sycamore.
Marion was a life-long member of the Sycamore United Methodist Church and a 4-H Leader- getting recognized by the State of Illinois as one of the longest serving leaders in the country.
Marion was dedicated to raising her children and caring for her family. She will be dearly missed by her loving family and many dear friends.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Orrin; three sons, Steven C. Vandeburg, David L. Vandeburg and Jay W. (Jennifer) Vandeburg; 5 grandchildren, Erin Elizabeth, Tyler Harrison, Benjamin L., Joshua D. and Samuel T. Vandeburg; brother, Marvin (Roberta) Hall; sister, Doris Bolander; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Hall and 2 sisters, Evelyn Hall and Dorothy Maze.
Her visitation will be on Thursday, April 22 from 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM at the Sycamore United Methodist Church, 160 Johnson Ave., Sycamore, IL. Her funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM at the Church on Thursday with Pastor Daniel Swinson officiating. Burial will follow at the Elmwood Cemetery in Sycamore.
