Obituary

Mabel M. Hodge, 64, of Sycamore died November 10, 2022 at her home.
She was born on November 26, 1957 in Rockford to Elmer R. and D. Evelyn (Ronk) Allen.  She married Michael T. Hodge Sr., December 6, 1975 in Elgin, IL.
She worked many years for the U.S. Postal service as an independent contractor and enjoyed her years as a stay at home mom and later in life as a bus driver for school district 428.
She loved to go fishing, horseback riding, barrel racing, and had a passion for baton twirling.
She enjoyed making dream catchers for family and friends as well as collecting china from each state she traveled. She also enjoyed knitting and crocheting.
Survivors include Wallace (Barbara) Allen, Sheryl (Jamie) Aquinga, Kelly (Jake) Bollinger. Michael T. Hodge Jr. (Diana), Michelle I. Hodge, Christina M. Hodge and Brenna (Kyle) Lemon. Grandchildren Nathan, Victoria, Stacey, Steviana, Shannon, Austin, Andrew, Lexi, Dalton, Pricilla, and Michael. Many beloved great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, her mother and father, and her brothers Charles Allen, Arnold Allen.
Her visitation will be on Thursday, Nov. 17th at Butala Funeral Home in Sycamore; and will occur from 3:00-6:00 PM, with a funeral service beginning at 6:00 PM.
Burial to happen at a later date with immediate family.
Memorials can be made for the family in care of the Butala Funeral Home, 1405 DeKalb Ave., Sycamore, IL. 60178.
