🌸 In Loving Memory of Lorraine Mae Harvey Hansen 🌸

March 5, 1935 – November 6, 2025

Lorraine Mae Harvey Hansen, age 90, of Sycamore, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 6, 2025.

Born to Ira Lavarnway and Mae Warner Lavarnway, Lorraine was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She found joy in the simple things, especially spending time with her cherished bird, Gus, and her loving family.

She is survived by her children:

David (Barrie) of Rochelle and their daughter Breanna
Laura (Greg) of Rochelle and their children Dawn, Greg, and Jamie
Debbie of Chicago and her children Jennifer, Jason, Jeremy and John Paul
She is also lovingly remembered by her granddaughters and grandson:

Amy Kuhns, daughter of the late Gerald Hansen
Shelly Mae and Tiffany, daughters of the late Wayne Hansen
Lilly, Peter, Chris and Michelle, children of the late Linda Hansen
Lorraine's legacy continues through her many great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immeasurable joy and pride.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her children Gerald Hansen, Gustav Hansen, Wayne Hansen, Linda Hansen, baby Dustin and baby Adam.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 12 at Butala Funeral Home, 1405 DeKalb Ave. in Sycamore, IL at 11:00 AM, followed by a burial service at Elmwood Cemetery at 12:00 PM.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to all who have offered their support and condolences during this time.
