Lilly Marie Anderson's Obituary
Lilly Marie Anderson (Pearce) passed away on March 3, 2021 in a
nursing home in Palatine Illinois.
She is survived by her three children,
Charles Tolleson Jr. (Amy), Richard Tolleson, and Dawn Cavanaugh
(Jason); her grandchildren Chase Tolleson, Ian Tolleson, Kaitlynn Mika,
Mollie Lanzer, Madeline Lanzer, and Jacob Cavanaugh; her great
grandson Weston Johnson; her siblings Calvin Pearce and Elsie Pearce
Baker as well as many nieces and nephews.
Lilly was born on July 14 th , 1938 in Panacea Florida. Her parents
were Edward Earl Pearce and Caddie Morgan Pearce (Alexander). She
had two other siblings (deceased), Frank Edward Pearce and Hazel
Earlene Pearce.
Lilly's greatest love, from the beginning until the end, was her
family. She was so proud of her children, grandchildren, and her great
grandson. No family gathering was long enough for her. The
articulation and expression of her love to each of her family members
was truly the essence of her being. Nothing else rated as even a close
second. There was nothing more valuable to Lilly than a heart-felt hug
from a loved one.
Lilly enjoyed dancing, dining out, champagne, and lots of little
appetizers. Her fried chicken, fried okra, fried shrimp and pickle dip
were a few of the family favorites. Her favorite opera was Phantom of
the Opera, which she saw three times. She loved to put on a pretty
dress and accompany it with multiple necklaces. She adored butterflies
and could not have enough cups, wine glasses, pictures, shirts, etc. with
butterflies on them. She was sassy, devoted to her family, and fiercely
protective.
Lilly was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great
grandmother and she will be missed by all.
Rest In Peace
A private celebration of life will be held on March 27th.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a small memorial donation in Lilly's name to
Monarch Joint Venture or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
