Obituary

Laurell "Laurie" Marie Moore (née Schuck), 70, of Sycamore, IL was born July 25, 1950 in Chicago to Loretta (née Ziolo) and Clarence Schuck. She passed away surrounded by her loving children on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 in Dekalb, IL.
Laurie attended St. Anne's School in Barrington, Carmel Catholic High School in Mundelein, Kishwaukee Community College in Malta and Northern Illinois University in DeKalb. Her career in management at McDonald's Corporation spanned 40 years in the DeKalb/Sycamore area, where she worked tirelessly in steadfast dedication to helping provide for her family. In 1977 she married the love of her life Eldridge "Dennis" Moore.  Together they raised three loving children Eldridge "Denny", Justin "J.R." and Tiffany; and also transformed their home into a loving space for kids throughout their community.  Laurie will always be remembered for her enduringly high spirits, her perseverance, and her strength. She loved her family beyond words and her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren. Laurie's true and endless devotion to her family was profound, she always put her loved ones first and stayed unwaveringly strong for them until the very end. She is dearly loved and will be intensely missed.
Laurie is survived by her husband, Dennis; their children Denny (Alissa), J.R. (Colleen), and Tiffany; their grandchildren Keira, Amelia, Suzanna, Cyrus, and Slater; her mother, Loretta Schuck; her siblings Cindy Schuck, Leon Schuck, and Kit (Terri) Schuck; her sisters-in-law Dobora "Debbie" Harper (née Moore) and Daphinee Richardson (née Moore); her nieces and nephews, Kirsten Schuck, Ebony Beasley, Matthew (Stephanie) Schuck and Taylor Schuck.
